How can we help?

Getting started

  1. Pick a tool from the home page. Most take one input: a domain, an IP, a URL or a MAC address.
  2. Nothing you look up is stored. Bookmark or share a result’s URL to run the check again later.
  3. Every tool also answers curl in plain text, and JSON with ?format=json. See the API reference.

Network

What’s my IPShows the public IP address the internet sees for you, both IPv4 and IPv6 if you have them, plus the reverse-DNS hostname and approximate location. PingMeasures how long packets take to reach a host and come back, and how many get lost, from real probes around the world, from our server, or from your own browser. TracerouteShows every router between a location and a host, which network each belongs to, and where delay or loss begins. Run it from probes worldwide, or paste a traceroute from your own computer. IP / ASN lookupShows which network owns an IP address and the range it belongs to, or every address range a network (ASN) announces. Open port checkChecks whether TCP ports on your own public IP address accept connections from the internet: the usual way to confirm a port forward or firewall rule works. Subnet calculatorA subnet calculator for IPv4 and IPv6: give it an address and a prefix or mask, get the network, mask, broadcast, usable host range and what kind of address space it is. MAC vendor lookupFinds the manufacturer behind a MAC address from the IEEE registry, and recognizes randomized (private) and multicast addresses.

DNS & email

DNS lookupLooks up DNS records for a domain (A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, CAA and more), or does a reverse lookup for an IP address, through Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1. DNS propagationAsks nine public DNS resolvers the same question and shows them side by side, so you can see which ones still have an old answer after a change. Nameserver checkQueries a domain’s own nameservers directly (not a resolver cache) to check the delegation, glue records, SOA serial sync and lame servers. DNSSEC chainWalks the DNSSEC chain of trust from the root down to your record and verifies every signature itself, showing exactly where a chain breaks. Email healthChecks a domain’s email setup in one go: MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS, TLS-RPT and BIMI, with a pass/warn/fail summary. Email header analyzerReads an email’s raw headers and shows where it really came from: every server it passed through, whether SPF, DKIM and DMARC passed, and signs of spoofing or phishing. WHOIS / RDAPRegistration data for a domain, IP address or AS number over RDAP (the modern WHOIS): registrar, key dates, status, nameservers and abuse contact.

Web

SSL certificate checkChecks a site’s TLS certificate: whether it’s trusted, how many days are left, which names it covers, who issued it, and the chain. HTTP headersShows the HTTP headers your browser sends, or fetches any URL and shows its response headers, redirect chain and a security-header check.

Webmaster

SEO & meta tag checkerFetches a page like a search engine and shows its Google result and link preview, plus a checklist of what to fix: title, description, canonical, indexing, headings, images, sharing tags and structured data. robots.txt testerReads a site’s robots.txt and tells you whether a crawler (Googlebot, Bing, GPTBot, ClaudeBot…) may fetch a given URL, which line decides it, and what’s wrong with the file. Sitemap validatorFinds a site’s XML sitemap (through robots.txt or the usual locations) and checks it the way search engines do: format, size limits, URL problems, dates, and whether a sample of the listed pages actually loads.
