Is this free?

Yes. The site may be supported by light advertising. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for.

Do you store what I look up?

No. Only daily counts per tool are kept (how many lookups, which output format, which country). Queries and IP addresses aren’t stored.

Can I use it from scripts?

Yes. Every tool answers curl in plain text, and add ?format=json for JSON. See the API reference.

Where do the checks run from?

Cloudflare’s network. Lookups that leave the site (DNS, HTTPS, RDAP) come from Cloudflare addresses.

Why can’t some tools reach sites on Cloudflare?

Code running on Cloudflare isn’t allowed to open raw connections to Cloudflare’s own servers. The affected tools say so and fall back where they can.

Something looks wrong.

Try the same lookup with ?format=json to see the raw data, and compare with another tool. Results reflect live data at that moment.
